Kritikere mener at The Last Internationale representerer fremtidens rebelsk rock. New York-bandet omtales som ekte, Iidenskaplig og intime, og hylles for sine sterke liveopptredener. De har turnert sammen med storheter som Robert Plant, Neil Young, Kings of Leon og Lenny Kravitz, for å nevne noen. Tom Morello fra Rage Against The Machine og Prophets of Rage er en av mange som sprer godord om bandet:
