Altin Gün is playing at Bergenfest Saturday, June 14 2025.

Based in Amsterdam and rooted in diverse cultures, Altın Gün has challenged and redefined the world music genre. The band delivers a distinctive mix of Anatolian folk, psychedelic rock, funk, cosmic reggae, and synthpop, with a cultural depth that both honors and challenges Turkish folk traditions. Their debut album, "On" (2018), put them on the map, and their second album, "Gece" (2019) — which earned a Grammy nomination and a spot on AllMusic's "Best of 2019" list — garnered them broad international recognition. In 2021, they released "Yol," introducing synthpop elements into their sound, while their latest album, "Aşk" (2023), marked a return to their Anatolian roots. The band also contributed to the soundtrack of the video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023).

In 2024, they released three new, innovative singles: "Gönül Dağı," "Kırık Çam," and "Vahşi," further developing the band’s hypnotic sound. With sold-out tours in North America, Europe, and the UK, along with performances at festivals like Coachella, Lowlands, and Primavera Sound, Altın Gün are renowned for their dizzyingly hypnotic live performances.  Be sure not to miss it at Bergenfest in 2025!
