Anna of the North will perform at Bergenfest 2025 Friday, June 13.
Anna Lotterud from Horten has, in just a few years, established herself as one of Norway’s most internationally acclaimed pop artists. With 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, over 500 million streams, collaborations with global stars like Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, and Dua Lipa, and critically acclaimed releases like "Crazy Life" (named one of The Times’ "Best Albums of 2022 So Far"), she has made a name for herself both at home and abroad. Yet Anna remains grounded, with her feet firmly planted on Norwegian soil.
Anna has a rare ability to balance vulnerability and confidence on stage, whether performing on grand international arenas or in intimate concert venues. The last time she performed in Bergen, at the Feelings Festival in 2023, a promising evening was sadly cut short due to the weather. Since then, many of us have been eagerly waiting for another chance to see her on a Bergen stage.
Her participation in "Hver gang vi møtes" in 2022 introduced her to an even broader Norwegian audience and inspired her to explore her own language in her music. With new tracks, including the Norwegian-language single "Hollywood Hills," it’s time to get excited for a concert that captures the breadth of Anna’s career. As she returns to Bergenfest for the first time since 2017, we’re counting on a fantastic evening—this time, without weather interruptions.
