Embla And The Karidotters will perform at Bergenfest 2023 Friday, June 16. 

After 13 years as the drummer for the influential indie band Razika, Embla Karidotter can finally cultivate her lifelong love of country and Americana with a move from behind the drum kit to the front of the stage. 

Embla and the Karidotters' first EP "Howling", received praise in the Norwegian press and attention well beyond national borders followed by her critically acclaimed debut album "Hello, I'm Embla" from 2022, produced by superstar producer Matias Téllez (girl in red). The album is about searching for belonging, identity and love, and is inspired by Midland, The Chicks, Charlie Rich and not least Dolly Parton.
