Icon, rebel, and innovator – Iggy Pop - the godfather of punk rock is back in Bergen for the first time in seventeen years!
First known as the legendary frontman of The Stooges, Iggy and his band took rock music to the next level in terms of rawness and left an indelible mark on rock history.
Since then, the trio has reunited on various occasions, but it is mainly as a solo artist Iggy Pop has made a career over the past five decades. Iggy debuted with "The Idiot" in 1977 and followed up with "Lust for Life" a few months later. The iconic singles "Lust For Life" and "The Passenger" still appear as fresh as when they first were released. Next year will see his twentieth album, titled "Every Loser" added to his amazing catalog.
Dare we hope for "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "Gimme Danger", "Search and Destroy", and of course "Lust For Life" when Iggy Pop will perform as the evening's headliner on Thursday?
