Joe Unknown will perform at Bergenfest 2023 Friday, June 16!

Since Joey Burns and John Convertino began making music together in Arizona nearly three decades ago, legendary Calexico have explored the dusty southwestern frontier with desert rock and cinematic tones, always vibrant and playful, influenced by Latin music, country, indie rock and spaghetti western soundtracks.

Throughout their career, their chameleon-like ability to explore soundscapes has also made them highly sought-after collaborators, which have led them to scoring a number of films, and collaboration with Iron & Wine, Willie Nelson, Jim James, Nancy Sinatra, Neko Case and Amos Lee, among others.
