Most Likely Marlin will perform at Bergenfest, Wednesday 11th of june 2025!

Here’s the English translation of the updated text:

Most Likely Marlin is your best friend from a coming-of-age movie. She looks like an elf princess, plays a pink bass, and is secretly talented at retro roller skating. Her music is a solar system of glittering, guitar-driven indie that makes your heart pound. She loves Phoebe Bridgers, slightly resembles Clairo, but sounds most of all like herself. At 19, she officially changed her name to Malin Isabel DISCO Guleng, which her mom thought was silly—unless she became a rock star. In 2023, the 24-year-old became the talk of the town after her debut concert at Oslo Indiefest landed her a spot at Øyafestivalen without having released a single song!

Three singles later, Most Likely Marlin is ready to release her debut EP with producer Mikhael Paskalev, set to drop on Braveheart Records (run by Mikhael Paskalev, Billie Van, and Jonas Alaska) in early 2025. Her released songs, “Sports Car,” “My Friend Heather,” and “Milli in a Million,” have been warmly recommended by Dagsavisen, Aftenposten, 730, P13, P3, and P3 Urørt.

Aftenposten describes Most Likely Marlin as “Norway’s best songwriter when it comes to friendship,” while Dagsavisen calls her music “something truly unique—a small chamber of wonders in the world of pop rock, full of ideas, impulses, and whims.”

In addition to Øyafestivalen, Most Likely Marlin has graced concert posters for festivals like Fres Festival, Dragefjellet Minifestival, GRL PWR FSTVL, Rockefeller, Parkteateret, and even played a sold-out support gig for Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick’s band. She was also awarded Sparebanken Vest’s talent grant at this year’s Vill Vill Vest.

And now it’s official: Most Likely Marlin will perform at Bergenfest 2025, a much-anticipated event for both fans and critics alike!
