Stephen Wilson Jr. is a one-of-a-kind artist with a journey that spans from boxing in his hometown in southern Indiana to working as a scientist and playing guitar in an indie band. In 2016, he took the leap to become a full-time artist and songwriter, signing with BMG Nashville. Since then, he has impressed the music world with songs written for stars like Caitlyn Smith, Old Dominion, and Tim McGraw.
His breakthrough came in 2023 with the release of his debut album, søn of dad – a powerful double album dedicated to his late father. The album was hailed as “a record for the ages” by Holler and named the best album of the year by multiple critics, including Rolling Stone.
Wilson Jr. has performed on iconic stages like the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, and Red Rocks, and toured with acts like Brothers Osborne, Midland, and Hailey Whitters.
