Grunge is not dead – it lives through The Clumps! The Bergen-based band, dubbed "Norway’s fresh rock hope" by Adressa and "Norway’s Nirvana" by Gaffa, delivers a fuzzy powerhouse of alternative rock, grunge, and shoegaze. Drawing inspiration from The Melvins, Radiohead, and Nirvana, The Clumps craft nostalgic guitar rock with just the right amount of distortion.
In 2023, they released their debut EP, "Tear It Apart," followed by their critically acclaimed first album, "Citizens," in 2024. With three recommended tracks on NRK P3 and the single "Citizens" topping P3 Best, they have made their mark in Norwegian rock, won the Eggstock Festival, and become a buzzworthy name at both By:Larm and Trondheim Calling.
Live, The Clumps are an explosion of raw energy and sheer power, and we’re looking forward to rock’s own "We Love the 90s" — for those who never retired their Chuck Taylors or packed away their flannel.
