The Darkness will perform at Bergenfest 2024 Thursday, June 13! 

In 2023 the British rock band The Darkness celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of their groundbreaking debut, "Permission to Land," marked by an extensive tour. Next year, they set their sights on Bergen and Bergenfest. The audience can expect hit songs like "I Believe in A Thing Called Love" and "Love Is Only a Feeling," as well as the band's signature falsetto vocals, spandex costumes, glittering guitar riffs, and an extravagant live show led by the band's charismatic frontman Justin Hawkins. 

The album "Permission to Land" topped the UK charts, was awarded 5x platinum, and sold over 1.5 million copies just in the UK. Additionally, it became a tremendous success worldwide, from the USA to Australia, Germany to Japan, and here in Norway as well. We look forward to reminiscing back to the early 2000s and welcoming The Darkness to their first concert in Bergen. Rock is not dead!"
