The Last Internationale will perform at Bergenfest 2024 Thursday, June!
If you're a fan of rock, there's a high chance that The Last Internationale has shared the stage or toured with one of your musical heroes. Their impressive list of collaborations includes legends like Robert Plant, Deep Purple, KISS, Neil Young, The Who, Kings of Leon, Slash, Lenny Kravitz, and Rival Sons. They were also the opening act for Guns N' Roses during their summer tour in 2023.
Hailing from New York, The Last Internationale, also known as TLI, is led by the charismatic frontwoman Delila Paz and guitarist Edge. They seized the music world's attention with their debut album "We Will Reign" in 2014, produced by the Grammy-winning Brendan O'Brien and featuring Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine on drums. Their 2019 follow-up, "Soul On Fire", produced by Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, and featuring Joey Castillo from Queens of The Stone Age on drums, topped iTunes' blues charts in the UK with its first single, "Hard Times". In 2023, they released their eagerly awaited third album, "Running for a Dream", with contributions from drummers Joey Castillo and Eloy Casagrande from Sepultura.
TLI is recognized as a phenomenal live band. After captivating the audience in Bergen during Bergenfest in 2018 and delivering a memorable performance at Ole Bull Scene in 2022, they have become beloved figures in the city. The Last Internationale epitomizes the future of rebellious rock, and we eagerly anticipate a much-awaited reunion at Bergenfest in 2024.
