The September When will perform at Bergenfest, Thursday 12th of June 2025!
The September When has had a remarkable year, celebrating their legendary album Huggermugger with a triumphant tour that culminated in two sold-out shows at the DNB Arena in their hometown of Stavanger. Led by Morten Abel, the band was formed in Stavanger in 1987 by a trio with roots in Mods. Their level of ambition was exceptionally high for a Norwegian band at the time, and with songs like "Bullet Me," "Can I Trust You," and "Where You Go I Go," they captivated audiences far beyond Norway's borders.
With classic albums such as Huggermugger, One Eye Open, and Mother I've Been Kissed, The September When set a new standard for Norwegian rock. Three out of their five albums topped the VG-lista chart, and the band was named Spellemann of the Year in 1993.
After disbanding in 1996, they reunited in 2008 for a concert in front of 35,000 people in downtown Stavanger. This was followed by the album Judas Kiss the same year and a subsequent tour that included a stop at Oslo Spektrum.
Fans can look forward to a reunion with a band at the top of their game when they take the stage at Bergenfest on Thursday, June 12, 2025!
