About Bergenfest

Bergen is the second largest city in Norway with a population of approximately 250.000. Located on the west coast of Norway, the city is known as the gateway to the fjords. Bergenfest is one of the largest contemporary music festivals in Norway and takes place in picturesque and historic surroundings of the Bergenhus Fortress. The festival is situated in the heart of the city, at the North end of the UNESCO World Heritage site Bryggen in Bergen. Over the course of four eventful days in mid June, Bergenfest offers the best of Norwegian and international music from a mix of genres - rock, RnB, hiphop, world music and more.
